Under coach Felix “Féfé” Munch and manager Amaury “moonL” Dennielou, the Eagle Gaming roster was composed of Lucas “Leaf” Loison, David “Lilbow” Moschetto, Bastien “SuperPlouk” Klau, Jérémy “Hqrdest” Danton, Damien “Hyp” Souville, Nicolas “NiCOgdh” Moret and Zouheir “GetAmazed” Baba. During the competition, we took our revenge on Team Gigantti in semi-finals, the team that had previously shut us down in Overwatch Contenders Season 1 Playoffs. Our opponents in this grand final in Paris were the season 1 semi-finalists Angry Titans, who made an exceptional journey during this season 2, being undefeated until final.

We are very proud of this victory which is the reward and embodiment of months of hard work for the players and the staff. We’re also feeling very thankful towards Blizzard who allowed us to play in front of an incredible crowd, mainly composed of french Overwatch fans. We will never forget these moments.

The end of this Overwatch Contenders season meets the Overwatch League mercato period. The recent announcement of eight additional teams for the Overwatch League season 2 makes this period even more important for players. Eagle Gaming’s aspiration is to help our talented eagles to reach the top of the Overwatch esport scene. It's in this perspective that we decided to renounce to any buyout in case an Overwatch League team or an Academy team would want to recruit one of our players. It would be an honor and a satisfaction to see them playing in the Blizzard Arena.

As the President of Eagle Gaming, I ever thought of the well-being of my employees and more especially, the players. Even if we have an effective successful team, who proved its great potential during the Overwatch Contenders finals, we prefer to escort our players through their careers to reach top level of competition. That’s why we decide to break the buyout clause in their contract to offer them the best chance to obtain a place in an Overwatch League team. For these who will go away from us, we wish them the best and hope they will keep some great moments with us”. - Xavier Calvi, President and Founder of Eagle Gaming.

Eagle Gaming will soon provide more informations about its future. Stay tuned.
